Many alarm companies who are compliant to EN 50131:2006, Intrusion and Hold Up Systems , tend to try and delay their re-certification audit for some time after the due date without realising the dangers this entails. Under the act, it states that to fit an alarm for Intrusion and Hold Up Systems the company fitting the system must be compliant to the standard.
